Job Description

PayPay, a fintech company with over 69 million users, is seeking a Data Governance professional to join their Data Strategy Department. This role is crucial for enhancing data governance, promoting data utilization, and ensuring data security and quality. The ideal candidate will contribute to both defensive and offensive data strategies, enabling the company to launch innovative business initiatives.

Role Involves:

  • Planning and promoting data governance strategies.
  • Resolving data governance issues.
  • Establishing and promoting data utilization systems across group companies.
  • Developing and maintaining data-related regulations and rules.
  • Managing personal information transfers, including third-party provision, outsourcing, and joint use.
  • Implementing privacy-related user communications.
  • Reviewing and promoting responses to revisions in the Personal Information Protection Act.
  • Evaluating risks from a data governance perspective in various projects.
  • Developing and promoting privacy-related certifications.
  • Developing, promoting, and evaluating Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA).

Requirements:

  • Experience in building and operating data governance in a business company or business consulting firm.
  • Knowledge and experience related to personal information protection and privacy protection.
  • Problem-solving, strategic thinking, and hypothesis design skills.
  • Experience leading projects independently.
