Job Description

The Senior Gas Trader will play a central role in expanding models, developing new trading strategies, and managing the portfolio across the curve. This role offers the opportunity to trade both physical and financial products.

What this role involves:

• Executing trades across major EU gas markets.
• Optimising storage, transportation, and capacity portfolios.
• Developing and implementing data-driven trading strategies.
• Analyzing market fundamentals, logistics, and trends.
• Managing risk and compliance.
• Contributing to the strategic direction of the gas trading desk.
• Collaborating with internal teams.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in European natural gas trading.
• In-depth understanding of gas fundamentals, logistics, and market dynamics.
• Demonstrated ability to optimise complex portfolios.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in quantitative tools and programming (e.g., Python, R, or Excel VBA).
• A robust network within the natural gas industry.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
