PayPay, a leading fintech company in Japan with over 69 million users, is seeking a skilled and passionate Solution Architect to join their Corporate Engineering team. This role is crucial for supporting PayPay's rapid growth and expanding business needs by designing efficient and scalable system architectures.PayPay's Corporate Engineering team is responsible for the internal development of business systems that support all areas of the company. Their mission is to contribute to the company's growth through technology, driving development and improving operational efficiency at an impressive pace. The team comprises various roles, from IT strategy to full-stack app development and infrastructure engineering, all working together as one cohesive unit.Role Involves:
  • Designing architectures and system configurations from a holistic perspective, considering development and operations for strategic and complex projects.
  • Supporting the hearing of requirements/requests from the entry timing of business requirements in the product/system roadmap.
  • Conducting technical verification of feasibility based on requirements hearing and organization, and understanding of existing systems.
  • Planning and implementing PoCs as needed.
  • Implementing measures to promote knowledge sharing and understanding of technical direction within the department.
  • Formulating measures to improve departmental productivity.
Requirements:
  • Experience in development, project management, or specialized knowledge in any field of system development.
  • Experience learning and applying new, unacquired/inexperienced technologies to work.
  • Skills to actively learn and understand new knowledge and skills, and explain them in your own words.
  • Communication skills to understand the essence from unorganized information and promote projects independently.
  • Experience in system design and development in a cloud environment.
  • Business-level or higher Japanese language skills.
