Job Description

Cobblestone Energy is seeking a Senior Gas Trader to join their team in Dubai, UAE. This role is pivotal in expanding models, developing new trading strategies, and managing the portfolio across the curve. The Senior Gas Trader will have the opportunity to trade both physical and financial products within the European Gas markets. Responsibilities:

• Execute trades across major EU gas markets.
• Optimise storage, transportation, and capacity portfolios.
• Develop and implement data-driven trading strategies.
• Conduct thorough analysis of market fundamentals and trends.
• Manage risk and compliance effectively.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the gas trading desk.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance trading performance.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in European natural gas trading.
• In-depth understanding of gas fundamentals and market dynamics.
• Demonstrated ability to optimise complex portfolios.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in quantitative tools and programming (Python, R, or Excel VBA).
• A robust network within the natural gas industry.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
