Cobblestone Energy is seeking a Senior Gas Trader to join their team in Dubai, UAE. This role offers a unique opportunity to expand models, develop trading strategies, and manage the portfolio across the curve, trading both physical and financial products.

The Senior Gas Trader will play a central role in the company's commercial team, working alongside exceptional colleagues in tech, analysis, quants, and origination.

Role Involves:

• Executing trades across major EU gas markets.
• Optimising storage, transportation, and capacity portfolios.
• Developing data-driven trading strategies.
• Conducting market analysis.
• Managing risk and compliance.
• Contributing to the strategic direction of the gas trading desk.
• Collaborating with internal teams.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in European natural gas trading.
• In-depth understanding of gas fundamentals, logistics, and market dynamics.
• Demonstrated ability to optimise complex portfolios.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in quantitative tools and programming.
• A robust network within the natural gas industry.
