Job Description
Banyan Software is seeking an M&A Analyst to join its high-energy M&A team. The Analyst will play a key role in deal origination, diligence, and transaction processes, contributing significantly to the organization's growth. This role offers unique exposure to various industries, business models, valuation methods, research techniques, and C-level executives.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Banyan’s M&A and the executive team to source and evaluate acquisitions.
  • Lead conversations with owners, advisors, and bankers.
  • Prepare and analyze financial and non-financial information, valuation, and operational models.
  • Drive the entire M&A process, including conducting detailed financial, sales, marketing, and operational diligence.
  • Draft investment memorandums for board approval.
  • Craft integration strategy.
  • Manage diligence processes and engage with internal/ external legal, technology, HR, and tax.
  • Assist in the finance, operations, and integration of newly acquired businesses.

Requirements:
  • Strong academic record from a competitive institution with a degree in Business or Finance
  • Minimum 2 years of M&A experience in private equity, investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate development, or a software-specific industry.
  • Expertise in building financial models and proficiency in preparing structured analysis.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ambitious career goals and the ability to work flexible hours.
  • A strong understanding of technology and a passion for the software industry.
