Job Description
Hancock Software, a Banyan Software portfolio company, is seeking a Solution Engineer to assist customers with the implementation of their energy efficiency retrofit software. This role involves working with various teams to ensure successful deployment and customer satisfaction. The Solution Engineer will be responsible for defining business needs, creating documentation, and participating in project calls.

Role Involves:
  • Defining and documenting business and technical needs.
  • Creating user documentation and procedures.
  • Assisting with training on the solution.
  • Participating in project calls and acting as a subject matter expert.
  • Coordinating and tracking project tasks.
  • Executing procedures scripting, data imports, configuration, and testing.
  • Translating business requirements into technical specifications.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated ability to lead software implementation projects.
  • Ability to track multiple detail-intensive tasks.
  • 2-5 years of JavaScripting and web design experience.
  • Experience with web development, JavaScript, PascalScript, MS SQL Script, Azure designer, Postman, SMS, Embarcadero Rad Studio, Delphi, RESTful API development, and basic SQL.
  • General knowledge of database structure.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Commitment to work well with clients and build customer relationships.
  • Experience in the energy efficiency retrofit and/or construction industry is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and proven productive working with a virtual team.
