Senior Frontend Engineer

Snyk is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their team in Lisbon, Portugal. The candidate will be responsible for creating reusable, high-performance, reliable, and scalable User Interfaces while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Snyk recently acquired Probely, a modern Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) provider based in Portugal.Snyk is committed to creating an inclusive and engaging environment where employees can thrive. • Analyzing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
• Developing and implementing highly responsive user interface components.
• Working with different teams to discuss and implement technical solutions, fix and identify bugs.
• Implementing tests for developed software.
• Providing mentorship to more junior engineers.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional Software Engineering experience.
• Proven work experience with React JS.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with Webpack.
• Effective communicator both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work collaboratively, be curious and have a growth mindset.
• Ability to lift the performance of a team through coaching and mentoring of more junior engineers.
