Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Data Pipeline team

Job Description

Bloomreach is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their Data Pipeline team. Bloomreach is building an agentic platform for personalization, revolutionizing how businesses connect with their customers through AI agents. The Data Pipeline team, built on DevOps principles, requires an additional SRE to enhance their capabilities. This role involves building and maintaining an ecosystem for engineers to develop, debug, and operate services in GCP and Kubernetes.

The ideal candidate will ensure high observability, scalability, and security of services, contributing to tooling for debugging, troubleshooting, and performance testing. They will automate manual processes and participate in L3 support and incident resolution. Bloomreach values a remote-first approach but welcomes candidates to work from their offices in Bratislava or Brno.

Responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining an ecosystem for service development and operation.
• Ensuring high observability and scalability of services.
• Fulfilling security requirements for ISO and SOC2 audits.
• Contributing to tooling for debugging and performance testing.
• Automating manual deployment steps.
• Providing L3 support and incident resolution.

Requirements include:

• Experience with Python and solid engineering practices.
• Experience with Go or ETL pipelines is a plus.
• Understanding of infrastructure as code (Terraform, HELM).
• Ability to use telemetry data for feedback.
• Comfortable with OnCall rotation 24/7 support.
• Ability to learn and adapt in a remote-first environment.
