amp sound branding is seeking a Creative Strategist to join their team in New York. amp sound branding helps brands connect their auditory expression with their core brand values by creating custom Sonic DNA®.

The Creative Strategist will play a key role in developing and refining sonic branding strategies for clients. He will work closely with client management, creative, and research teams.

The role involves:

  • Developing and refining sonic branding strategies based on market research, competitive analysis, and brand analysis.
  • Developing and articulating strategic frameworks for sonic identities, ensuring alignment with business and brand objectives.
  • Translating brand attributes and values into actionable creative direction.
  • Creating detailed sonic brand guidelines that define sound principles, usage, and consistency across touchpoints.
  • Shaping the conceptual framework of sonic identities, ensuring consistency across brand touchpoints.
  • Validating sonic branding concepts in collaboration with client management, Creative and research teams through testing and data-driven insights.
  • Presenting strategic recommendations and rationales to clients in a compelling and persuasive manner.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years in brand strategy, creative strategy, or related fields
  • Experience in sonic branding, music branding, or audio-focused projects is a plus
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate insights into creative direction
  • Experience with consumer research methodologies, data interpretation, and brand positioning
  • High proficiency in PowerPoint, Keynote, and other presentation tools
