Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

PALO IT is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will be passionate about new technologies and digital innovation, with experience in an Agile environment. The Senior Software Engineer will initiate development projects, implement architectures, and assist customers in adopting new architecture patterns.

Responsibilities:

• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Ensuring high performance and responsiveness to technical requests
• Participating in Agile/Scrum methodologies (daily stand-ups, backlog management, demos, retrospectives)
• Ensuring development, testing, maintenance, and support

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in ReactJS and other Front end development (Javascript, AngularJS, etc.) and Backend (NodeJS, Databases, Java, Python, Clojure, etc.)
• Experience in mobile (Swift for iOS, Android, native or hybrid) development is a plus
• Interest in designing scalable, reliable, and secure software
• Familiarity with Agile Methodologies, Scrum, Kanban, and interest in Design Thinking, Lean Start-up, TDD, BDD, or XP
• Communicative with a good sense of idealism and pragmatism
