The AI augmented Software Engineer will leverage their software development expertise and AI tools to accelerate development cycles and foster innovation. They will collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to drive innovation through traditional development practices and AI-augmented workflows.

Role Involves:

• Writing code according to software craftsmanship best practices, enhanced by AI.
• Recommending, testing, and adapting tools and methods suitable for the mission context.
• Conducting code, accessibility, performance, and security audits using expertise and AI-assisted analysis.
• Facilitating workshops to ensure continuous mutual understanding.
• Participating in and leading agile ceremonies.
• Proposing improvements to clients and team members.
• Designing simple and scalable architectures using AI-based approaches.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently with AI tools.
• Staying updated on emerging technologies and AI development practices.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software development with technologies like Python, Javascript, Rust, Java, C#, etc.
• Technologically agnostic and open to discovering new stacks.
• Proactive, curious, and open to different perspectives.
• Proficient in using AI code assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot) for code generation and problem-solving.
• Understanding of rapid engineering principles for optimal AI tool interaction.
• Critical thinking to validate AI-generated code and solutions.
• Commitment to continuous learning in the evolving AI landscape.
• Interest in transversal roles to ensure project quality.
• Awareness of social, environmental, and Tech For Good issues.
• Concern for the social and environmental impacts of their work.
