Senior Data Engineer (H/F)

Job Description

PALO IT, an international technology consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their team in Paris. In this role, the Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Big Data architectures and data processing pipelines. They will play a key role in implementing innovative technological solutions for clients, promoting a data-driven and machine learning-oriented approach.

Role Involves:

• Designing and implementing robust and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Deploying and optimizing infrastructures for massive data storage and processing.
• Collaborating with Data Science and BI teams.
• Ensuring data quality and developing standardized data governance processes.
• Staying updated on the latest technological trends.
• Participating in the training and mentoring of junior team members.

Requirements:

• Bac +5 degree in computer science, data engineering, or a similar field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Mastery of Big Data technologies and associated tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.).
• Excellent knowledge of public clouds such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Advanced skills in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.).
• Good command of Python and/or Scala, as well as automation tools (Airflow, CI/CD).
• Experience in Machine Learning or MLOps is a plus.
