Job Description
At-Bay is seeking a Cyber Analyst to join their Security team, focusing on Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR). This role involves delivering incident investigation and response services to At-Bay insureds. The Cyber Analyst will contribute to protecting small businesses from digital risks by combining insurance with security technologies and expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Collecting, transmitting, and storing digital evidence forensically.
- Analyzing digital evidence to identify indicators of compromise.
- Developing incident timelines and theories of compromise.
- Identifying incident root causes.
- Participating in threat actor negotiations.
- Participating in incident recovery activities.
- Developing and delivering incident reports.
- Developing and delivering recommendations to mitigate future incidents.
- Developing and delivering incident response training and simulations.
Requirements:
- Previous digital forensics and incident response experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Hands-on experience in digital forensics and incident response.
- Experience in information technology operations.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity operations.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
