The ideal candidate will be responsible for building data products to optimize decision-making within the company, such as classification/regression models, heuristic optimization, and statistical analyses. Role Involves:

• Conducting studies and analyses with large data volumes to inform strategic decisions.
• Developing machine learning models to solve specific problems and optimize processes.
• Participating in meetings with stakeholders to align expectations and communicate results.
• Collaborating with teams from different areas (engineering, marketing, product) to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
• Performing rigorous testing and validation of implemented models and solutions.

Requirements:

• Alignment with XP Inc.'s culture.
• Practical knowledge in Python, with experience in building, training, and evaluating machine learning models.
• Knowledge in statistics, probability, statistical modeling techniques, machine learning, optimization, and recommendation systems.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and develop data-driven solutions.
• Passion for technology and innovation.
• Strong communication skills.
• Residence in São Paulo and availability to work in a hybrid model (3x per week).
