Job Description
Agile Space Industries is seeking a Test Engineer III/IV to advance the development of propulsion systems. The candidate will play a critical role in test operations, data analysis, and the development of propulsion systems. This role involves working alongside senior engineers, providing leadership and expertise to drive projects.Responsibilities include:- Leading and overseeing engine testing setup, execution, and data collection.
- Performing advanced data analysis and generating test reports.
- Developing and refining test procedures and protocols.
- Leading troubleshooting efforts and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborating with engineering teams and project managers.
- Providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in test engineering, with a focus on propulsion systems or aerospace technology.
- Strong technical expertise in test operations, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to develop and implement test procedures and protocols.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work for extended periods while wearing a self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).
