Job Description
Simpplr is seeking a Principal Product Manager to join their Integrations & Extensibility team. This role is based in Gurugram, India. The Principal Product Manager will be responsible for building integrations and frameworks that enable customers to extend the Simpplr platform. They will work closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams to deliver flexible, scalable developer tools and APIs. This role requires a strong technical background and prior experience as a developer.

The role involves:
  • Defining and executing the product roadmap for integrations, APIs, and extensibility features.
  • Ensuring platform support for integrations with enterprise applications.
  • Building frameworks for customers to develop their own integrations and custom micro-apps.
  • Driving the creation of API management solutions, SDKs, and developer portals.
  • Translating customer use cases into product requirements.
  • Collaborating with Engineering and Design teams.
  • Defining key metrics to measure success and adoption.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert on integrations and developer tools.
  • Staying updated on industry trends.
  • Partnering with Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing teams.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of product management experience with a focus on developer tools, APIs, integrations, or extensibility.
  • Prior hands-on experience as a software engineer.
  • Experience building API-driven platforms, custom SDKs, and developer ecosystems.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, OAuth, webhooks, and various authentication/authorization models.
  • Strong understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience working with a wide variety of third-party integrations.
  • Strong technical communication skills.
  • Experience working in agile development environments.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in defining and tracking key KPIs.
  • A self-starter with a growth mindset.
