Job Description

KRAFTON is seeking a Native English Language Specialist to join PUBG Studios in Seoul. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, refining, and creating in-game text to ensure clarity, consistency, and linguistic quality. They will collaborate with game designers, project managers, and localization teams to maintain high standards of language and tone. The Language Specialist's expertise will help shape immersive and engaging player experiences through well-crafted dialogue, UI text, and narrative elements.

Role involves:

• Reviewing and editing in-game text for linguistic accuracy and consistency.
• Creating and refining dialogue, UI elements, tutorials, and other game-related text.
• Collaborating with game designers and project managers to align text with game mechanics and narrative.
• Ensuring localization-friendly writing to facilitate seamless translation.
• Maintaining and updating style guides, glossaries, and linguistic assets.
• Providing feedback on text readability, tone, and player engagement.

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience in the localization industry as a linguist, creative editor, or copywriter.
• Native spoken & written proficiency in English.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A passion for video games and the art of localization.
• Knowledge of the localization process.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented attitude.
• Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Able to travel abroad for business without any restrictions.
