KRAFTON is seeking a Junior/Senior Technical Artist to join PUBG Studios in Seoul. The Technical Artist will be part of the TA team within the graphics engineering department, focusing on enhancing visual quality and optimizing performance for PUBG projects. The role involves improving and supporting art pipelines across various projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research, development, and support for enhancing PUBG's visual quality.
  • Support art production processes for unreleased new projects at PUBG Studios.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Technical Artist.
  • Experience participating in realistic-based projects.
  • Deep understanding of art production processes.
  • Proficiency in at least one DCC tool (with the ability to create samples and write guides).
  • Experience with shaders (HLSL) and scripting languages (for in-house tool creation, custom shading models, etc.).
  • Experience developing with Unreal Engine 4/5 (resource creation, blueprint creation, material creation, development tool creation, etc.).
  • Understanding of art resource optimization measurement methods and improvement techniques (art resource memory management, etc.).
  • Must not have any restrictions on international travel.
