Takealot.com, South Africa’s leading online retailer, is seeking a talented Product Manager to join their Supply Chain product and engineering team in Cape Town. This role focuses on order fulfillment and requires a dynamic individual ready to tackle challenges within a hyper-growth company.The Product Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the product roadmap for supply chain software projects. He will work cross-functionally with engineering, design, operations, and executive teams to enhance products and drive key performance indicators. The role involves understanding business stakeholder needs, translating them into projects for engineering teams, and defining/tracking relevant metrics.Responsibilities:- Develop and execute product roadmap for supply chain software projects.
- Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and priorities.
- Define and track metrics to inform decisions on features and functionality.
- Collaborate with technical lead to establish technical vision.
- Set timelines and drive project schedules.
- Monitor metrics and dashboards to ensure product performance.
- Manage direct reports and mentor their career development.
- Review test plans and test scripts.
- Proven track record of execution and roadmap development.
- Ability to guide product managers, business analysts, UX experts, and engineers.
- Solution-oriented with strong accountability and motivation.
- Data-driven decision-making skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in a related field and 5+ years of Product Management experience (2+ years in Product Development) OR 8+ years of Product Management experience (2+ years in Product Development).
