Backend Engineer E3 - Ecosystem

Job Description

BitGo, a leading infrastructure provider of digital asset solutions, is seeking a Backend Engineer E3 to join their Engineering team. This role involves designing and building resilient APIs, libraries, and services to power financial services such as clearing and settlement, digital asset lending, trading, and liquidity. The engineer will own functionality and scalability features from inception to deployment, collaborate with engineering teams, and mentor peers. Responsibilities include:

• Designing and building robust APIs and services.
• Owning functionality and scalability features.
• Exposing and documenting functionality.
• Collaborating with engineering teams.
• Providing mentorship to peers.

Requirements include:

• 6+ years of back-end development experience.
• Strong algorithm design and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with TypeScript/Node.JS and SQL databases (Postgres or MySQL).
• Experience with RESTful API design, unit/functional testing, and microservices.
• Proficiency in Git/GitHub, CI tools, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Ability to work independently and strong English skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
