Job Description

Inizio is seeking a Data Engineer to contribute to the advancement of AI capabilities within Inizio Medical. This role is pivotal in building scalable data pipelines and designing data architecture to handle diverse data sources. The Data Engineer will collaborate with various teams, including Data Scientists and Software Developers, ensuring data quality and reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Build scalable and efficient data pipelines.
  • Design the Data Architecture.
  • Build and maintain the CI/CD infrastructure.
  • Build and maintain data APIs.
  • Setup, support, interact with and maintain AI components.
  • Build mechanisms for monitoring the data quality accuracy.
  • Evaluate and make technical decisions on the most suitable data technology.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Software development and other stakeholders.
  • Work closely with System Admins and Infrastructure teams.
  • Monitor and optimise performance of data systems.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Experience with Generative AI models.
  • Understanding of database technologies and modelling techniques.
  • Experience with setting and managing Databricks environments.
  • Competent working with Spark.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing modelling techniques.
  • Competent with setting up CI/CD / DevOps pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud platforms Azure and AWS.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
