Job Description
BitGo is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to join their team in Bangalore, India. This role involves growing BitGo’s business by building the best system for Institutions. The Engineering Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders to set the product and technical vision, provide coaching to the team, and ensure the quality and delivery of the team’s work.- Be accountable for growing BitGo’s business
- Collaborate with Product, Trust, Compliance, and other key stakeholders
- Provide regular coaching to the team
- Take direct responsibility for quality and delivery of the team’s work
- Manage end-to-end availability and performance of critical services
- Encourage best practices in engineering design and usability
- Facilitate thorough documentation and knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with management and product teams to plan, estimate, and prioritize roadmap objectives
- Work closely with company leadership to identify upcoming opportunities and risks
- Actively foster an engineering-wide culture
- Coordinate with stakeholders in the US and other global locations
- 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, 2+ years in a managerial role
- Experience in crypto, professional or personal, or an interest in the same
- Experience successfully onboarding onto a new organization as a manager
- Track record of sourcing and hiring top engineering talent, including managerial talent
- Proven success leading engineering-wide initiatives
- Demonstrated history of collaborating with products to come up with a product roadmap
- Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly working with business stakeholders
- Engineering degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
