Senior Software Engineer - Platform

Job Description

BitGo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their platform team. The ideal candidate will deeply understand how developers use Node.js and TypeScript at BitGo to create optimal solutions and abstractions. This role involves designing, building, and optimizing scalable platform services and Node.js-based tooling to support BitGo’s high-performance custody, wallet, and financial services platforms. The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain standards for API design, platform performance, and overall system architecture.

• Designing and building scalable platform services.
• Developing tools and workflows to improve engineering velocity.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain standards.
• Improving operational excellence through learning and investments in reliability.

• Deep expertise in Node.js, npm, and TypeScript.
• Strong experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD tools, and agile development practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
