Senior Software Engineer - Platform

Job Description

BitGo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their platform team. This role involves designing, building, and optimizing scalable platform services and Node.js-based tooling to support BitGo’s custody, wallet, and financial services platforms. The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain standards for API design, platform performance, and overall system architecture. BitGo is looking for someone to improve engineering velocity, including deployment pipelines, testing frameworks, and service abstractions.

• Deeply understand how developers use Node.js and TypeScript at BitGo.
• Design, build, and optimize scalable platform services.
• Provide and integrate libraries, frameworks, and workflows.
• Develop tools and workflows to improve engineering velocity.
• Continuously improve operational excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

• Deep expertise in Node.js, npm, and TypeScript.
• Strong experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Strong testing and debugging skills.
• Proficient with Git, CI/CD tools, and agile development practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related technical field.
