Senior Counsel

Job Description

Clipboard Health is seeking a Senior Counsel to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a wide array of legal experience, ranging from handling various types of litigation and matters relating to corporate governance, to reviewing and revising a variety of commercial agreements. They should also have expertise in data privacy and cyber security and know how to practically apply that expertise.Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with the Sales organization to review contracts and negotiate deals.
• Providing advice on transactional data privacy and cybersecurity matters.
• Providing product counseling and risk assessments for new product development.
• Contributing to legal strategy and day-to-day management of litigation and investigations.
• Performing corporate governance functions.

Requirements:

• JD from an ABA accredited law school and admission to at least one state bar.
• 7+ years of relevant experience at a reputable law firm and/or in-house legal department in the U.S.
• Experience handling a wide range of litigation matters.
• Experience handling matters involving data privacy or cybersecurity.
• Experience building and improving legal processes.
• Bias toward action and solving problems.
• Ability to take ownership of your work and manage projects independently.
• Comfort and skill navigating complexity and ambiguity.
• Ability to work autonomously and under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Agility and flexibility to take on new tasks and responsibilities.
