Enterprise Integrations Engineer

Job Description

Intercom, an AI Customer Service company, is seeking an Enterprise Integrations Engineer to join their team in Chicago. This role is within the Enterprise Systems organization, which ensures the company operates to the standards of a high-performing, high-growth, scalable company. The Integrations Engineer will design and implement robust integration solutions, connect various systems, oversee custom development, and ensure data integrity and security.Role responsibilities include:

• Assisting in gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Supporting the development of integration plans.
• Developing event-driven automation scripts.
• Contributing to the design and implementation of integration workflows.
• Testing and validating integration workflows.
• Maintaining documentation for integration processes.

Requirements for the role include:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing complex integration solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of integration patterns, protocols, and technologies (e.g., REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, ETL processes).
• 2+ years with automated workflows using Python and iPaaS tools (e.g., Workato, Mulesoft, Boomi, Tines).
• Understanding business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience working with modern data models using tools like dbt and Snowflake.
