Enterprise Integrations Engineer

Job Description

Intercom is seeking an Enterprise Integrations Engineer to join their team in Dublin, Ireland. The company is an AI Customer Service provider, offering solutions like Fin, an AI agent, and the Intercom Customer Service Suite.

The Integrations Engineer will design and implement integration solutions connecting various systems within Intercom's enterprise systems. They will oversee custom development, ensure data integrity and security, and provide technical leadership. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and staying updated on emerging technologies.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Supporting the development of integration plans.
• Developing automation scripts using low-code tools or Python.
• Contributing to the design and implementation of integration workflows.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Supporting testing and validation of integration workflows.
• Maintaining documentation for integration processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing complex integration solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of integration patterns, protocols, and technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, ETL).
• 2+ years with automated workflows using Python and iPaaS tools (Workato, Mulesoft, Boomi, Tines).
• Understanding of business processes and ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience with modern data models using tools like dbt and Snowflake.
