Job Description
Intercom, an AI Customer Service company, is seeking an Enterprise Integrations Engineer to design and implement integration solutions. This role involves connecting various systems within Intercom's enterprise systems, ensuring data integrity and security, and providing technical leadership. The Integrations Engineer will own the integration platform, ensuring seamless connectivity between applications and platforms.
Role involves:
- Designing and implementing integration workflows and solutions.
- Evaluating integration tools and technologies.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Monitoring integration processes and ensuring data accuracy.
- Maintaining documentation for integration processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing complex integration solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of integration patterns, protocols, and technologies (e.g., REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, ETL processes).
- 2+ years with automated workflows using Python and iPaaS tools (e.g., Workato, Mulesoft, Boomi, Tines).
- Understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience working with modern data models using tools like dbt and Snowflake.
