Job Description
Intercom, an AI Customer Service company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their accounting organization. This role reports to the Accounting Manager and involves collaborating on various accounting functions, including month-end close, financial reporting, and process improvement. The Senior Accountant will work with FP&A, Tax, Workplace, IT, and Legal teams.
Role involves:
- Assisting in day-to-day accounting activities
- Preparing account reconciliations
- Providing financial analysis and support to management
- Posting monthly journal entries
- Collaborating with various departments
- Optimizing and automating monthly close and reporting processes
- Participating in external audits
- Performing special projects and research
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in accounting operations
- Ability to challenge the status quo and leverage technology
- Excellent technical, analytical, and communication skills
- Knowledge of NetSuite and FloQast preferred
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
