Product Engineer

Intercom, an AI Customer Service company, is seeking a Product Engineer to join their team in Dublin. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary product team, working closely with designers, product managers, researchers, and data analysts to solve real customer problems. They will contribute to building both back-end and front-end systems, facing exciting scaling challenges and applying their expertise to various areas such as building a messenger composer, rule matching, deliverability, security, app availability, and machine learning.

What this role involves:

• Developing technical plans and contributing to the technical architecture.
• Writing Ruby code to integrate AWS, infrastructure, platform, and SaaS technologies.
• Shipping changes to production and features quickly.
• Mentoring other engineers and interviewing candidates.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of industry experience in a software engineering role, preferably building a SaaS product.
• Deep knowledge of a high-level programming language (e.g., Ruby, Python, Javascript).
• Experience collaborating with product teams and designers.
• Experience with distributed systems.
