Senior Product Engineer

Job Description

Intercom, an AI Customer Service company, is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to join their team in Dublin, Ireland. The successful candidate will solve customer problems through technical expertise, working within a multidisciplinary product team alongside designers, product managers, researchers, and data analysts.

The Senior Product Engineer will contribute to the technical architecture, mentor other engineers, and interview candidates. Intercom offers a hybrid working policy, requiring employees to be in the office at least two days per week.

What this role involves:

• Developing technical plans and contributing to technical architecture.
• Writing Ruby code to integrate AWS, infrastructure, platform, and SaaS technologies.
• Shipping changes to production and features quickly.
• Mentoring other engineers and interviewing candidates.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of industry experience in software engineering, preferably with a SaaS product.
• Deep knowledge of a high-level programming language (e.g., Ruby, Python, Javascript).
• Experience collaborating with product teams and designers.
• Experience with distributed systems.
