Job Description
Intercom, an AI Customer Service company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Dublin, Ireland. This role involves solving customer problems through technical expertise and collaboration within a multidisciplinary product team. The Senior Software Engineer will contribute to both back-end and front-end systems, working closely with designers, product managers, researchers, and data analysts.
Role Involves:
- Developing technical plans and contributing to technical architecture.
- Writing Ruby code and integrating AWS, infrastructure, platform, and SaaS technologies.
- Shipping changes to production and features regularly.
- Mentoring other engineers and interviewing candidates.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of industry experience in a software engineering role, preferably building a SaaS product.
- Demonstrated impact on product and team.
- Deep knowledge of a high-level programming language (e.g., Ruby, Python, Javascript).
- Experience collaborating with product teams and designers.
- Experience with Distributed systems
