Intercom is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join their Frontend Tech platform team in Dublin, Ireland. This role offers an excellent opportunity to improve how Intercom builds user interfaces, focusing on making it easier for product teams to develop and ship high-quality products quickly. The successful candidate will play a key role in modernizing Intercom's tech stack, adopting React, and rethinking the frontend architecture.Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with domain experts to shape technical direction and frontend infrastructure.
• Contribute to technical strategy and architecture as Intercom scales.
• Develop new tools and services to facilitate web framework usage for other engineers.
• Participate in all phases of software development, from ideation to implementation.
• Play an active role in hiring, mentoring, and career development.
• Raise the bar for technical standards, performance, reliability, and operational excellence.

Requirements:

• Multiple years of experience using React to build complex UIs.
• Deep knowledge of Web UI technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML) and Node.js.
• A proven track record of enabling other engineers or product teams.
• Experience building or supporting a SaaS product is ideal.
• Demonstrated impact on product and team performance.
• Proficiency with standard software engineering methodologies.
• Ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions.
• Ability to learn quickly, iterate, unblock oneself, and persist.
