What this role involves: - Leading, coaching, and inspiring a team of designers.
- Partnering with product and engineering counterparts to align strategy and drive decisions.
- Setting and upholding a high bar for craft.
- Solving problems from first principles.
- Helping the team make hard decisions and focus on outcomes.
- Being a design quality amplifier.

- Staying hands-on in the work.
Requirements: - Experience leading and growing high-performing design teams.
- Experience hiring, coaching, and developing designers at all levels.
- Experience owning execution across a portfolio of product areas.
- Experience partnering with Product and Engineering leadership.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
- A track record of shipping great software.
- Strong visual sensibility and high standards for craft.
- Demonstrated product taste.
