Job Description
ABBYY is seeking a Manager of Incident Response to join their team in Bangalore, India. This role is offered on a hybrid basis. The Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the incident response strategy, managing the incident response team, and ensuring timely and effective responses to security incidents. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of cybersecurity threats, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Role involves:
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive incident response plan.
  • Leading, mentoring, and managing the incident response team.
  • Overseeing the detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery processes for security incidents.
  • Staying current with emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborating with IT, security operations, legal, and compliance teams.
  • Developing and conducting training programs and tabletop exercises.
  • Leading post-incident analysis and reporting.
  • Preparing regular reports for senior management.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on incident response or threat management, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of incident response frameworks and methodologies (e.g., NIST, SANS).
  • Experience with security tools and technologies, including SIEM, forensic analysis tools, and incident management software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, GCIH) preferred.
  • Experience with cybersecurity threat hunting and proactive defense strategies preferred.
