Senior Site Reliability Engineer

ABBYY is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their team in Budapest, Hungary. The Senior Site Reliability Engineer will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and observability of critical production services.

Responsibilities:

• Co-own critical production service designs.
• Drive reliability and observability improvements.
• Use monitoring and telemetry data for informed decision-making.
• Build and improve internal tools and automation software.
• Lead reliability-focused practices.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code.
• Build SRE dashboards from SLIs to measure SLO adherence.
• Act as a point of contact for production application issues.

Requirements:

• 3-6+ years of experience in an Infrastructure, SRE, DevOps, or CloudOps role.
• Experience in diagnosing and resolving indexing issues in relational databases.
• Strong understanding of query optimization and database internals.
• Proficiency in using database performance monitoring tools.
• Experience programming in C#, Java, Python, .Net, NodeJS, or Go.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Experience with AWS or Azure (preferably Azure).
• Experience with cloud-performant microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Understanding of information security concepts.
• Distributed monitoring experience.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies.
• Ability to analyze problems quickly and find suitable solutions.
• Proactive and open-minded with a client focus.
• Experience in leading and managing a team.
