Job Description
ABBYY is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to modernize and evolve its C++ Computer Vision library. This role involves deep technical expertise to deliver robust, high-performance Computer Vision solutions for Intelligent Document Processing (IDP). The ideal candidate will design and implement core library architecture, mentor team members, and collaborate across functions to ensure the long-term success of ABBYY's vision technology. Strong experience with Computer Vision concepts and algorithms is highly valued.
Role Involves:
- Designing and implementing major architectural improvements to the C++ Computer Vision library.
- Driving technical decisions for library modernization, scalability, and performance.
- Leading the implementation of critical algorithms and optimization initiatives.
- Mentoring senior and junior engineers on technical challenges.
- Contributing technical insights to roadmap planning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong background in C++ development and cross-platform library design.
- Deep knowledge of modern C++.
- Expertise in software architecture and design patterns.
- Strong understanding of Computer Vision and Machine Learning algorithms and techniques.
- Experience technically guiding a team and mentoring engineers.
