Job Description
PENN Entertainment is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Analyst to join their team in Toronto. This role involves working with the Regulatory Compliance Manager and other stakeholders to ensure the online sportsbook and interactive casino operations adhere to regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and reviewing internal controls.
- Maintaining oversight of patron complaints.
- Monitoring and investigating operational and procedural compliance.
- Preparing and submitting internal and external reports.
- Assisting with compliance record keeping.
- Attending state-gaming regulatory body meetings.
- Identifying areas of non-compliance.
- Drafting standard operating procedures.
- Proactively identifying and anticipating issues.
- Performing regulatory reviews across jurisdictions.
- Collaborating with other departments.
- Drafting and summarizing meeting minutes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in legal, audit, or regulatory related field, or commensurate experience.
- 2+ years of work experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the Gambling industry is a plus.
- Ability to review and communicate regulatory standards.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
