Consulting Associate (European Competition practice)

Job Description

Charles River Associates (CRA) is seeking a Consulting Associate to join its European Competition practice in Brussels. CRA is a global consulting firm providing economic, financial, and strategic expertise to major law firms, corporations, and governments.

The Consulting Associate will work closely with senior staff on project teams, providing conceptual input and helping to shape cases. This role offers the opportunity to work on significant competition cases in Europe.

The role involves:

• Identifying potential issues and conducting analyses.
• Assembling evidence from data and research.
• Programming, building models, and performing regression analyses.
• Assisting in the development and presentation of client deliverables.
• Interacting with clients and communicating economic concepts.
• Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of analyses and opinions.
• Participating in practice-building activities.

Requirements:

• MSc/MPhil in economics from a well-regarded institution.
• Up to 3 years of professional experience in consulting or competition policy.
• Fluency in English.
• High degree of numeracy and familiarity with econometric techniques.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated initiative and leadership.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration capabilities.
• Excellent time management and task prioritization skills.
