Charles River Associates is seeking an Intern to join their European Competition practice in Dusseldorf, Germany. This internship mirrors the full-time analyst role and offers a chance to work closely with senior staff on diverse projects, providing a comprehensive understanding of working as an economist at CRA. The internship duration is flexible, typically three to six months, with flexible start dates throughout the year.
Role Involves: - Identifying potential issues and conducting analyses.
- Assembling evidence from data and research.
- Programming, building models, and performing regression analyses.
- Assisting in the development and presentation of client deliverables.
- Communicating complicated economic concepts.
- Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of analyses and opinions.
Requirements: - Candidates studying economics at either Master's or PhD/DPhil level.
- Strong foundation in microeconomics, preferably with a specialisation in industrial economics and/or econometrics.
- German language fluency essential.
- High degree of numeracy and comfort with data manipulation are essential, familiarity with econometric techniques desirable.
- Relevant research experience.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
