This role is ideal for candidates with a PhD in economics, focusing on applied microeconomics or econometrics. The Senior Associate will work closely with senior consultants on high-profile competition cases, playing a key role in shaping economic analysis. Role involves:
Identifying and conceptualising issues.
Specifying rigorous economic models.
Undertaking statistical and econometric estimation.
Managing research associate staff.
Assisting in the development and presentation of client deliverables.
Acting as a primary point of contact for clients.
Programming, building models, and performing regression analyses.
Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of analyses.
Contributing to practice-building activities.
Requirements:
PhD degree in economics (completion date of December 2024/Summer 2025).
Academic focus on Applied Microeconomics or Applied Microeconometrics.
Experience in Excel, Stata, Python, R, SQL, SAS, ArcGIS/ArcPy, or Cloud computing.
Understanding of economic, financial, and/or accounting concepts.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
