Job Description

Charles River Associates is seeking a Senior Associate to join their European Competition practice in either Munich or Dusseldorf, Germany. This role involves providing conceptual and practical input to competition case work, assisting Vice Presidents and senior staff. The Senior Associate will play a key role in shaping some of the largest and most significant competition cases in Europe.Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in competition case work
• Providing conceptual and practical input
• Working on significant competition cases in Europe

The ideal candidate should possess:

• A first degree in economics and a PhD/DPhil in economics or a Master's program with relevant work experience
• Fluency in English and German, with additional fluency in Dutch or French desirable
• Professional work experience in consulting, business, or with a competition authority
• Demonstrated understanding of economic concepts, competition policy, and quantitative analysis methods
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Strong teamwork and collaboration capabilities
• Excellent time management and task prioritization skills
