Charles River Associates (CRA) is seeking a Principal to join their Litigation Services team within the Energy practice. Responsibilities: - Conducting electricity, oil, and gas market analysis.
- Performing economic assessments of policies and regulations.
- Supporting corporate and asset management clients with strategic decisions related to ESG concerns.
- Preparing expert reports and testimony for energy-based litigation.
- Developing and executing commercial strategies.
- Planning mergers, acquisitions, and divestments.
- Assessing market potential for renewable and unconventional energy technologies.
Requirements: - A strong interest in the energy industry.
- A major in a quantitative discipline such as Economics, Physics, Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Research experience.
- Computer and programming skills.
- Presentation and communication skills.
- Strong writing ability.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas.
- 7-10+ years of relevant work experience (preferred).
- Experience with MS Excel, programming languages, or other data analytics tools (a plus).
