Job Description
Charles River Associates is seeking a Principal to join its Forensic Services practice. The Principal will leverage CRA’s eDiscovery technology suite to process, organize, analyze, and deliver data-driven insights. This role involves frequent contact with senior leadership and project teams.Responsibilities include:
- Executing on projects involving data identification, collection, processing, review, and production.
- Supporting engagement planning and project team execution.
- Interfacing with client personnel and implementing client discovery strategies.
- Preparing client communications/reports.
- Implementing client data review within Relativity.
- Implementing client data processing projects.
- Preparing and delivering data productions.
- Managing risk through quality control measures.
- Participating in team recruiting and retention efforts.
- Managing the growth and professional development of junior staff members.
- Participating in marketing and business development initiatives.
- Assisting in business development efforts by drafting proposals.
Desired qualifications include:
- 11+ years conducting eDiscovery activities.
- Deep technical knowledge of eDiscovery tools and technologies (Relativity, Brainspace, Nuix, etc).
- Experience with processing data within Relativity and/or Nuix.
- Expertise in industry-standard platforms with industry certifications.
- Multiple Relativity certifications preferred.
- Sound working knowledge of current IT platforms, technologies, and operating systems.
- Experience utilizing enterprise forensic collection and examination applications (EnCase, FTK, Nuix etc) preferred.
- Ability to effectively lead teams and prioritize multiple projects.
- Strong policy, process, and project management experience.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence colleagues and implement initiatives.
- Demonstrates integrity, initiative, and commitment.
- Demonstrates commitment to client development and management.
- Experience participating in speaking engagements, hosting webinars, etc.
