Job Description
Charles River Associates (CRA) is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Forensic Services practice in Toronto. The role involves supporting companies in responding to allegations of fraud, waste, abuse, misconduct, and non-compliance. The Senior Associate will be part of a cross-trained team of forensic professionals, providing accounting, forensic, and cybercrime investigation services.
Responsibilities include:
- Executing security and privacy investigations for CRA clients.
- Performing forensic analysis of digital information.
- Improving incident response team capabilities.
- Contributing to relationships with law enforcement agencies.
- Preparing client communications.
- Managing risk and implementing quality control measures.
- Participating in team recruiting and retention efforts.
- Managing the growth and professional development of junior staff members.
- Providing management support to engagement teams.
- Supporting engagement planning and management.
- Providing technical assessment/audit and guidance to clients on cybersecurity controls.
- Interfacing with client personnel.
- Assisting in business development efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
- 5-7 years’ experience in cyber intrusion investigation or incident response analysis.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience in a hands-on technical role.
- Experience with data analytics engagements.
- Working knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, networks, and IT security.
- Deep knowledge of networking, operating systems, and web technologies.
