Job Description
Charles River Associates (CRA) is seeking a Senior Associate to join their Forensic Services practice. This role involves providing technical accounting and forensic expertise in complex litigation, internal investigations, and white-collar defense matters. The Senior Associate will work in project teams, conducting research and using technology to analyze data and deliver insights.

Role Involves:
  • Investigating accounting irregularities and responding to allegations of fraud.
  • Analyzing financial data using accounting and financial concepts.
  • Utilizing database skills to analyze large data sets.
  • Conceptualizing issues and designing complex financial models.
  • Reviewing client documents and summarizing key issues.
  • Assisting with project planning and management.
  • Interacting with clients and presenting findings.
  • Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of analyses.
  • Assisting with recruiting and training efforts.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of finance or accounting work experience.
  • CFA or CPA professional certification is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Experience gathering and analyzing electronic data.
  • Skills in intelligence gathering and data analysis.
  • Problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel.
