Charles River Associates (CRA) is seeking a Senior Associate to join their Forensic Services practice. This role involves providing technical accounting and forensic expertise in complex litigation, internal investigations, and white-collar defense matters. The Senior Associate will work in project teams, conducting research and using technology to analyze data and deliver insights.
Role Involves:
- Investigating accounting irregularities and responding to allegations of fraud.
- Analyzing financial data using accounting and financial concepts.
- Utilizing database skills to analyze large data sets.
- Conceptualizing issues and designing complex financial models.
- Reviewing client documents and summarizing key issues.
- Assisting with project planning and management.
- Interacting with clients and presenting findings.
- Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of analyses.
- Assisting with recruiting and training efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of finance or accounting work experience.
- CFA or CPA professional certification is beneficial.
- Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Experience gathering and analyzing electronic data.
- Skills in intelligence gathering and data analysis.
- Problem-solving and communication skills.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to travel.
