Job Description
Charles River Associates is seeking an Associate to join their Risk, Investigations & Analytics (RIA) practice. The Associate will conduct in-depth background research on individuals and entities using U.S. and international open source materials, compiling findings into written reports. This role involves working on due diligence investigations, fraud and corruption matters, asset tracing, monitorships, and litigation support.Responsibilities include:
- Preparing client deliverables for multi-faceted investigations.
- Researching public records and social media in multiple jurisdictions.
- Coordinating with case teams on project deliverables and deadlines.
- Delivering written and verbal briefings on research findings.
- Identifying and developing resources for investigative research.
- Fostering a collegial working environment.
- Assisting in mentoring junior analysts.
- Participating in practice, office, and corporate initiatives.
Desired qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (Master's desirable).
- Up to 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in consulting.
- Experience using investigative databases and public record resources.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience identifying adverse issues and evaluating sources.
- A high level of initiative and a strong work ethic.
