Data Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

Via is seeking a Data Infrastructure Engineer to join their talented team in Tel Aviv. The engineer will be responsible for the core data infrastructure, working closely with other engineering and data teams. Via is a company that uses technology to transform transportation around the world.This role involves:

• Designing, building, and maintaining scalable data platforms and pipelines.
• Developing and managing cloud-based data solutions on AWS.
• Managing Snowflake environments.
• Ensuring system reliability and observability.
• Optimizing storage, compute, and data processing costs and performance.

Requirements:

• BSc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in data engineering and backend or software development.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Data streaming, Kafka, Airflow, cloud platforms (preferably AWS), k8s, terraform or equivalents.
• Solid background working with data warehousing technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.
