Principal Engineer

Via is seeking a Principal Engineer to play a crucial role in shaping the R&D Group's technical vision and working on high-impact projects. The Principal Engineer will be a pivotal leader, guiding engineers and maintaining high standards of technical excellence. They will contribute to the development of Via’s cutting-edge server software and scalable infrastructure.Role involves:

• Shaping the Group’s technical landscape and driving innovation.
• Influencing architectural design and making key decisions.
• Leading complex technical projects and ensuring timely delivery.
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring engineers.
• Driving system design, architecture, and integration efforts.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Developing high-quality code and participating in code reviews.
• Staying current with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in software development and systems architecture.
• Experience with cloud infrastructures.
• Proven track record of leading and delivering technical excellence.
• Extensive experience in Backend programming with an object-oriented language.
• Experience with Python and Go (Advantage).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
